Schwinn Cyclelock - Equipped bicycles are further protected against loss from theft for a period of one year after purchase as explained in the Schwinn Loss Guarantee which is attached to every bicycle so equipped. This guarantee is extended at no additional cost to dealer or purchaser.

Over fifty years of superior Schwinn quality permits Arnold, Schwinn and Co. to make this guarantee. Your new Schwinn bicycle is guaranteed against defects in frame and fork construction, head fittings, crank hanger assembly, kickstand, front hub, tank, carrier,fenders, rims, handlebar and stem as assembled at the factory.

If any of the above parts prove defective, request your nearest Schwinn dealer to secure a replacement for you. Any such guaranteed part will be replaces when returned to the factory. All transportation charges must be paid by owner. Dealer's labor charges in making a replacement are not covered by the guarantee.

Damage resulting from abuse, neglect, accident or ordinary wear and tear, does not constitute a defect. The guarantee does not apply when the bicycle is used in rental service or with a motor, but otherwise is in forces as long as the bicycle remains in the possesion of the original purchase. No liablity is assumed for consequential loss or damage beyond the guarantee applying to the replacement of defective parts as set forth above.

When replacement of worn parts becomes necessary, be sure genuine Schwinn parts are used. This guarantee becomes invalid if any but Genuine Schwinn parts are used for repair of replacement.

Sign and keep this certificate in a safe place. Attached Registration Card must be filled in completely and mailed to Arnold, Schwinn and Co., the guarantee to become binding upon the Manufacturer upon receipt thereof at Chicago Illinois.
